SUMMARY:
Superman is visiting Batman at the Batcave for help with a kryptonite situation... he didn't know Bruce has such 'eclectic' taste in decorum.
INTRO:
Bruce stares into the screen, hunched over the keyboard and although he isn't wearing the armor, he looks every bit Batman. Every bit a paranoid, sleep-deprived genius he is, though Clark will refrain from commenting on his best friend's unhealthy work ethics, for at least the next five minutes.
Gotta be a gracious guest and respect the host of the... cave.
"So... what do you think, Bruce?" Clark scratches his chin, although he considers himself a pretty smart guy, whatever tech bullshit Batman has going on on those... ten screens is a tiny bit beyond him.
There has been a spike in kryptonite encounters in the last year, not exactly the kind of thing Superman is thrilled about, so easiest solution was - go and bother Bruce for a bit, so he finds out where that damn green rock is coming from this time, and then the Justice League can all breathe out and watch a movie together... yeah, except Bruce never participates.
"Hm." That's about 50% of Wayne's vocabulary at the moment. "The AI needs more time to analyze. Are you positive it isn't Luthor?"
"It was my first guess!" Superman answers, again.
"And because you're here, it was wrong..." World's Greatest Detective.
"Hey! Maybe Lex had a change of heart? Who knows, but it isn't him this time." Ah yes, Earth's Boy Scout, always seeing the good in people, even in those who tried to kill him on about 300 occasions.
"Unless he had a stroke prior to that..."
And then there's the most paranoid man on planet Earth, aka Brucie Wayne, full-time Batman, billionaire bad boy on the weekends, 100% the guy to never trust a word coming from Lex Luthor's mouth, even if baldie says that sky is blue.
Just the pair, Batman and Superman!... They couldn't be more different, if they tried to. Clark, meanwhile, a bit bored (and a bit excited to actually be in the Batcave), just kinda looks around, strolls around, then...
"... Bruce?" He says, checking his glasses.
"Yeah?" And Bruce doesn't even look up from the computer.
"What's with, uh... the giant... penny?"
