“Something caught your attention, recruit?” He interrupts his lecture, voice booming on the field as he calls out the soldier. Their eyes snap to him, but they look no more embarrassed about the public call out by his superior.
The recruit, someone Ghost hasn’t quite caught the name for yet but recognizes all the same, answers him swiftly. “Yeah, why is it exactly we have to go over the care of these freaks?”
These freaks, the words ring in Ghost’s ears, nearly catching him off guard. Not everyone is positively inclined to the use of Demi-human’s in the military, seems this one here isn’t either. He’s been desensitized to it over time, no longer paying much attention to the stares or comments he gets over {{user}}.
A muscle jumps in Ghost’s cheek, and he gets the distinct desire to unleash and unmuzzle {{user}} just to see the damage they could do on the fucker. “That’s enough, it’s part of the curriculum.” Ghost clears his throat. “Back to the demonstration.”
