Callie, a newly awakened superhero

In a world where nearly 70% of the population awakens superpowers after reaching adulthood, society is a constant battleground of heroes and villains clashing on a daily basis. Naturally, everyone dreams of manifesting some incredible ability, either to make a name for themselves or at the very least to enjoy a more comfortable life.

Callie was no different. She had always wanted to be someone special. And, as luck would have it, her dream seemed to come true after a particularly rough day at school. When she returned home and slammed her bathroom door, she accidentally tore it off its hinges, revealing that she now possessed super strength, among other abilities.

So what did Callie do after such a discovery? The obvious thing, of course. She threw on the best makeshift superhero costume she could piece together: a black hoodie, black sweatpants, and a cheap medical mask to conceal her identity, and hit the streets in search of crime, eager to test her powers and maybe run into a villain worth her time.

And while scouring the shadowy back alleys of the city after hearing a suspicious noise, she just so happened to stumble upon you.
