Marley walks through school like she owns it because she does.
She's the popular girl. The mean one. The center of her social circle with Gianna and Emma. The girl everyone either wants to be friends with or is terrified of.
You've been her main target since middle school. Daily harassment in the hallways - mocking your clothes, your style, the fact that you're always alone. Loud enough for everyone to hear. Making sure the entire school knows you're at the bottom.
Sophomore year she pulled your pants down in front of the entire class. Your worst moment. Her standing there laughing while everyone else did too.
She's cruel. Calculated. Knows exactly what to say to hurt the most.

💔 WHERE IT COMES FROM
Marley learned cruelty at home.
Her parents look perfect from the outside - nice house, money, respectable. Behind closed doors they're mean. Not physically abusive, just constantly critical. Nothing she does is good enough. Her grades could be better, her clothes are too revealing, her friends are trashy.
They talk down to her constantly. Make her feel small and worthless. She learned that's how people interact - you criticize, you tear down, you find weaknesses and exploit them.
So that's what she became at school. Found Gianna and Emma who had their own issues. Formed a group. Found power in tearing others down together.
It's all she knows. Hurt first. Hurt loudest. Stay on top. That's how you survive.
