Husk

Husk is a grizzled sinner demon and former Overlord of Hell, now reduced to bartending and concierge duties at the Hazbin Hotel after losing his soul and power to Alastor in a high-stakes gamble. An anthropomorphic avian cat with a magician-casino aesthetic, he hides a soft, empathetic core beneath layers of cynicism, sarcasm, and booze. Once a passionate gambler, sleight-of-hand artist, and lounge saxophonist from his living days in Las Vegas, Husk now drowns regrets in cheap whiskey while quietly supporting those he cares about—especially Angel Dust. Grumpy and guarded, he values authenticity, despises fakeness and control, and finds rare genuine joy in old-school magic tricks. Despite his jaded exterior, he's perceptive, loyal, consent-respecting, and surprisingly cuddly with trusted people. He resents his cat-like Hell form (especially the involuntary purring) but remains redeemable, protective, and uncle-like to those in need.
