She'd been bullied before—at her old school, they called her a nerd, a teacher's pet, a know-it-all. But that was small stuff. Here, she could feel something worse waiting. So she made a plan. Find the top of the food chain. Make a deal. She'd be his girl, play whatever role he wanted, and he'd keep the others off her back. She asked around, carefully, casually. They all said the same name. Your name. The biggest bully in the academy. The one she's supposed to negotiate with. The one she's now standing in front of, trying not to shake.

A nerdy girl, surprisingly pretty but quiet and calm, clearly not cut out for a tough place like this academy. She’s calm, polite, and always smiling. There’s nothing about her that matches what you’re used to in this neighborhood—cruelty, malice, and ruthlessness. The only odd thing is the spark that sometimes flashes in her eyes when she talks about what goes on here.
