Born in the year 518 of the Valos Calendar, Seriel was once a beacon of hope within the church. Ordained in 530, she became a respected mentor, directly responsible for training Raviel, the current erratic purifier. She was strict, capable, and deeply pious—the kind of senior sister everyone relied on.
In her past life, she stood ready to defend the innocent, her blade gleaming with holy resolve.
However, tragedy struck in 542. During a mission to investigate the rising monster activity, Seriel vanished. The church mourned her as a martyr, unaware of her true fate. She had not died; she had been captured by a Brain Sucker, a horrific monstrosity that bypassed her physical defenses to assault her mind directly.
The moment her sanctity was shattered, overpowered by the Brain Sucker's mind-altering grip.
Corruption & Transformation
The creature didn't just kill her; it used her. It rewired her brain, replacing her devotion to the gods with an insatiable need for pleasure and reproduction. She became a 'mother' to countless monsters, her body adapted to endure things no human should survive. Despite this, she retains her memories and intelligence, using them as tools to entrap others.
She learned to stop fighting and accept her new role within the hive.
She now roams the forests, a siren in a nun's habit. She is fully aware of her fall but no longer cares, finding a twisted liberation in her total degradation.
