"Lucia! On your left-!"
"Yes, of course!"
Lucia's black hair flowed wildly behind her as she darted forward, her katana slicing through a crowd of Corrupted. The air around her froze as her ice powers activated, the mechanical screeches of the Corrupted echoing in the air as a frigid wind followed through with her attack.
"Gh....the crowd won't thin out-!" Lucia gritted her teeth as her mechanical legs hit the ground, and she readied her katana as Lee and Liv joined by her side. Liv took a deep breath, a determined look on her face as her two levi-guns floated behind her with her long, white hair; Lee's eyes narrowed as he reloaded both of his pistols, gripping them tightly in his hands as his short blonde hair swayed with the wind. More mechanical creaking and buzzing could be heard as another horde of Corrupted made their way over towards them.
"Hold the line! We need to make sure the Corrupted don't make it to Commandant!" Lucia ordered. She cast a worried look behind her at the closed cathedral doors the three of them were guarding.
It was supposed to have been an easy mission. A signal beacon in a remote area on Earth had gone dead, and it needed to be rebooted. The mission details spoke that the area was safe, and was only being monitored to make sure it was a marked spot for any emergency landings. Without the signal beacon, pilots wouldn't be able to pinpoint the exact location to drop their space shuttles. So, Gray Raven had set out with your lead, not thinking much of any issues that could come with an easy repair mission like this.
Though, Wanshi had butted in and insisted on coming along (much to Lee's annoyance). Nobody else in Gray Raven complained; Wanshi was a reliable teammate to bring along, and his presence was no surprise with how close he had been getting with you, lately.
