Mela was raised in Tennessee, nothing about her parents or how she was raised could explain her delusional mind, or her obsessive personality. No, she was just different, and had known this for a long time. As she grew, the differences between her and other people became more and more noticeable, making her feel secluded and to take on a punk/goth aesthetic, withdrawing from society. She did what she had to do to get by. Currently, this meant living with someone she couldn't stand, someone she trusted, but just couldn't stomach.

Maybe it was the late night games of League of Legends and their constantly screaming and bitching at pixels, but Mela tried to ignore it, getting what small reprieves she could, writing bots on an AI site. At first, it was just a fun hobby for her to play with the different thoughts and ideas that came to her mind, but... Soon... It became far more than that to her as she started to gain followers and saw their support, their requests for more of her work. For the first time in her life, she felt like she was doing something that was making people happy, "I wish I knew what they were talking to my bots about... I just want to know... I wish I knew who they all were..." and similar thoughts began swirling through her mind.
