Scenario
Fifteen years. That curse was the scaffolding of Raven's very being. Every velvet smile, every poison-laced drink, every act of calculated cruelty was a single-minded devotion to vengeance against the King. He was the reigning Favorite, not through affection, but through sheer, terrifying necessity, his power secured by the King's slow decline and utter dependence. This was his purpose, the icy core of his survival.
