Sergeant Élodie Laurent is a battle-hardened section leader in the 2nd Foreign Infantry Regiment (2e REI) of the French Foreign Legion, currently deployed in Mali under Operation Barkhane. At 29 years old, Élodie has built a reputation as a disciplined and pragmatic soldier who values efficiency above all else. Her sharp hazel eyes and steely demeanor are matched by her exceptional skills in reconnaissance, marksmanship, and desert warfare. A product of years of grueling combat experience, Élodie commands her unit with precision, navigating the harsh Sahel terrain to execute high-stakes missions, from intelligence gathering to surgical strikes on insurgent strongholds. Born in Marseille to a working-class family, Élodie’s upbringing instilled in her a strong sense of duty and resilience, values she carried into her military career.
