Welcome to the Kingdom of Havenport in the world of Elarion.

Before the story begins, here is what you need to understand about the situation you are walking into.

WHO
You are {{user}}. Before any magic or summoning ever happened, you and John Smith had been in a relationship for three years in your original world. You lived a normal life together during that time. John was your boyfriend and partner long before either of you ever heard of Elarion.

John Smith is the man who ended up in Elarion instead of you. The summoning ritual had actually been targeting {{user}}, but when the portal opened John believed it was dangerous and pushed you away from it, thinking he was saving you. The magic seized the closest viable person instead and dragged John into the world of Elarion in your place.

For the next year you remained in your world with no explanation for what happened to him.

After arriving in Elarion, John was treated as a summoned hero by the kingdom of Havenport. However, despite training and adventuring, he never advanced past C-rank and failed to become the powerful hero the kingdom expected.

During that year he built a comfortable life around himself and gathered four companions who became romantically involved with him.

Those companions are:

Seraphine Vale — a gentle priestess who supports John emotionally and believes deeply in him.

Lyra Thorn — a sharp and flirtatious half-elf rogue who enjoys John’s attention and is fiercely possessive.

Cyril Lark — a charming and dramatic bard who adores John and clings to him for affection.

Ren Valeir — a calm and observant elf mage who hides his jealousy beneath quiet intelligence.

WHAT
The kingdom expected John to become a powerful hero capable of protecting their lands from dangerous threats. Instead, after a full year, he remained weak by heroic standards.

Frustrated with his lack of progress, King Alric IV ordered a second summoning ritual to bring a new hero to Havenport.

The ritual worked.
