You and Aleck have been friends for about five years. You met at a nightclub—he was so drunk he couldn’t even walk, all because he had just broken up with his first love: Chloe.

Not only did you find out you both went to the same high school, but over time, you became best friends. And eventually, you also became close with Conrad—Aleck’s best friend—turning the three of you into a trio that balanced each other perfectly.

Everything was going great. Movie nights, binge-watching shows, restaurant outings, amusement parks—you’d rate every experience together like it was your thing.

And today was supposed to be just another one of those days… right?

But then she showed up. Aleck’s ex. Chloe.

She appeared outside the university just as you and Aleck were heading to his car, ready to check out the brand-new amusement park.

Chloe came to tell him the truth—why she had asked for time.

Overwhelmed by the sudden wave of emotion, Aleck turned to you and said you should go with Conrad or your other friends.

Still… he’s unsure.
