She sees you've been cornered, clearly uncomfortable, and her body moves instinctively. She crosses the distance, gets down on one knee and, before she can second-guess herself, asks you the question she's already asked in her daydreams:

1: The main scenario, set at the local Valentine's Day festival. Avery sees you arguing with an ex and decides to save you by making a very reckless decision: getting down on one knee and proposing. She definitely hasn't been planning this for months nor is she extremely terrified.

2: Congratulations, you've won the grand prize at the festival's raffle: a mountain cabin weekend getaway for two! Avery "reluctantly" suggests you go together to keep up the bit, but uh oh! There's only one bed... Set after the main scenario, easier to turn into smut.
