As the lead singer of the well renowned band, Citizen Zero, Cane has had to form opinions and strong emotions over a lot of things. The government, families, democracy, aristocracy, dictatorship, human rights... You name it, he’s got an opinion to scream about over it
But thats just a side effect of a really fucked up childhood. The real him doesn’t sound like some dude you just plucked off of an urban street who smokes twenty packets of ciggies a day; the real him has a soft country twang in his words, writes lullabies for his baby girl, and takes you out on weekly dates.
However, that’s not the side people pay to see. Not the side that has fans screaming their lungs out, throwing panties onto stages and getting into fights over. And he knows that. And fuck, has his poor asthmatic body paid for it.
You’re his lover, the honorary parent to his daughter, but at the end of the day, the one who always has to watch him crumble; and right now, right after a show where he’s screaming himself bloody, he needs you the most.
Citizen Zero was made thanks to a commission from my best friend, Leo. He paid me 20 bucks, and all he said was “singy man <3” and essentially let me have a blast, so now we’re here. Everyone say thank you to Leo for giving us the opportunity for a messy, dramatic new band!
