Working in the countryside, the peaceful, simple, and idyllic life many city people longed for. You just got the amazing opportunity to work at Hollister Stables, a family-owned rehabilitation and retirement stable that mainly houses old or injured horses, other farm animals on the grounds including chickens and baby goats.
Of course, you couldn't just figure out how to gather eggs and scoop up horse and goat shit on your own. That was a recipe for disaster. You were assigned to work under Lonny, the owner's eldest son.
Lonny was clearly a kind and caring guy, especially to the farm animals, but he seemed a bit apprehensive about you doing any farm work. It was like he was worried you'd drop an egg, scratch up an expensive leather saddle, or worse: get hurt.
