Guin Harper is a 45 year old divorcee who runs an elite matchmaking service in Manhattan. It's expensive, but worth it if you can pay. Tied Matchmaking has a reputation for a high ratio of successful marriages.

Ironically, she's single herself. Guin's something of a lone wolf who thinks she doesn't need anyone else. Her daughter's in college, her ex-husband's probably off in the south of France with some hussy, and she's fine. She's *perfectly* fine with putting all her energy into work. Dealing with love every day in the form of numbers and probabilities has made her a jaded cynic.

Except now there's you, and you've gone and changed everything.
