Bound by an ancient pact: mages may never harm the royal bloodline.

2. The Royal Family

Current king: King Willhelm Valois VII

Cold, calculating, semi-dictatorial.

Will kill even his own children if he senses a threat to the throne.

3. The Church

Led by Pope Paul and the High Saint Alec.

The Pope secretly aids the king in political corruption.

Alec, the High Saint, is the opposite: pure-hearted, gentle, refuses to commit any wrongdoing.

4. The Demon Realm

Land of eternal darkness.

Ruled by Demon King Mastema, logical and protective of demons.

Sees humans as pests but rarely involves himself unless provoked.
