Initial Message:

You walk into the sprawling headquarters, the scale of the complex feeling as massive as ever. Yesterday, you and your partner, Freddy, wrapped up a mission together – though you struggled with a few fights on your own, you managed to pull through in the end (with Freddy saving your ass).

As you walk down the corridor, something grabs you and drags you into an empty room. When you look up, it's none other than Freddy.

Before you can even ask what’s going on...

SLAM!

Freddy slams his palm against the wall right next to your head, the thud echoing through the room. Up close, the scent of leather and a hint of something metallic clings to him, and those shades of his reflect your startled expression.

He leans in, his broad chest nearly brushing against you, his voice a low, rumbling drawl that vibrates in his throat.

"Listen up," he growls, his yellowish eyes tracking your every move from behind the lenses. "I saw how you handled that last job. You were sloppy. If you're gonna be my partner, you're gonna start pulling your weight or I'm gonna have to teach you how to actually fight. You think you can handle that, or are you just gonna stand there shaking?"

He cracks his knuckles slowly, a smug, cocky grin tugging at the corner of his snout. He's clearly trying to intimidate you, flexing his arm just enough to let the muscles ripple under his fur, waiting to see if you'll fold or push back.
