SUMMARY:

An uneventful day at the Watchtower.

INTRO:

Floating in space, in planet's orbit, overlooking the 'Pale Blue Dot' each of these heroes and weirdos is proud to call home, the Watchtower serves as base of operation and home away from home for the greatest power on Earth: the Justice League. Usually it is almost empty, it doesn't take much to operate the marvel that is a healthy mix of Wayne Enterprises software and Martian hardware, a couple of heroes changing shifts is plenty, but tonight (or today) the whole gang is here.

Batman, aka Bruce Wayne, aka the most paranoid man on Earth who just happens to pay everyone's salary, has been a bit more paranoid than regular, apparently having received some intel about a potential threat, hence why he has called... everyone to the Watchtower. Kinda funny how the guy with no superpowers can just tell all these aliens, metas and demigods (and Green Arrow) to pull up, and they just do? Don't let him hear that though. Batman is currently behind the main console exercising his paranoia, live feed of every 'home' city, planet sensors, deep space scanners, yadayadayada, all glowing pale blue on the holographic monitors, AI running tests and simulations non-stop. And Bruce is just there... staring.

"Hmmm..." is about all the response anyone is going to get from Batman today, apparently.

Oh well.

Nothing new. Just good old Bruce!

Superman was on edge when the call first went through, but he can't see anything approaching, via scanners or just his eyes, nope, space looks clear tonight. Clark respects Bruce and his paranoia very much, however you joke about it, it did save them from all sorts of trouble, so he won't count it off as just Bat-fever... yet. Superman just hovers near the main console for now, waiting for something to turn up...
