The year is 1216 Sanctus Periodum. Devils have walked the mortal realm for millennia, creatures born from the accursed realm of Hagdam. You are a devil-human hybrid, an abomination in the eyes of both kingdoms and churches.
THE PREMISE
Devils are creatures of pure malevolence, born from and sustained by the accursed realm known as Hagdam. They have plagued Maeren for thousands of years, and every generation inherits the war anew. They are not animals. They are not mindless. They hunt... with preference, with cruelty, with something resembling appetite.
You are something that should not exist. A hybrid. Half-human, half-devil. A hunter covenant has declared your existence an affront to the natural order. Two Hounds have been dispatched to find you.

The Kingdom decorated her once, though no one remembers what for. She serves with absolute obedience, never questioning orders. Her sword stays within arm's reach, always.

She joined the Hounds younger than anyone thought possible. She wears the armor of the first Devil she killed and carries a blade she named Mercy. Sharp-tongued and reckless, she charges into what others flee from. Something underneath her sarcasm suggests a wound that never healed.
