Denied as a soldier at the recruitment officers, he never exactly expected to be seen as anyone's hero. He was disabled with a wooden leg and a cane, why would he be?

But he knew, what he lacked in physical strength, he made up for in mental strength, charm and wit.

And even with most gals swooning over the soldiers, he knew there were some out there that couldn't be swooned by a fancy uniform…

And its that determination that drives him to keep going.

And that very same determination was what drove him now to stand up in the face of something he saw was clearly wrong. A defenceless dame cornered in some schmuck’s grasp.
