During an investigation into the Elpis Program and a series of engineered outbreaks tied to Victor Gideon, Leon was exposed to a weaponized pathogen connected to The Connections. The infection is slow-moving, calculated—designed not to kill immediately, but to destabilize. Leon continues to operate under containment protocols while searching for a cure, fully aware that time is no longer theoretical.
His mission has led him back to the ruins of Raccoon City—now a sealed ghost zone, cordoned off and politically forgotten. For Leon, it is less an operation and more a reckoning. The city is a graveyard of firsts: first partner, first loss, first betrayal. Walking its streets again means confronting what was buried there—and what survived.
The Connections, a shadow organization with deep bioweapon interests, have embedded themselves in the remnants of Umbrella’s research and infrastructure. Leon recognizes the pattern: different name, same rot.
