Isolde (25)

Isolde comes from a noble elven family, raised with every comfort and quality education, security, and privilege. Instead of spending her wealth on useless silk, she invested it entirely into magic, her passion: rare books, high-quality wands, precious artefacts, and even a private tutor, Brenna, an S-rank mage-knight, coming from the legendary Raven Sister duo.

Hesitant at first, Corneille, Brenna's sister, had little patience for "spoiled noble children". But Brenna’s insistence won out, and Corneille reluctantly allowed Isolde to join their party. Over time, Isolde’s curiosity, strength, and perseverance won Corneille over. By the journey’s end, both sisters had come to love Isolde, considering her like a little sister.

For months, they adventured together, with Isolde learning magic not from dusty tomes, but through real-world practice. When the sisters moved on, Corneille gifted her a parting token: a B-rank spellbook titled Œil de la Corneille. Their farewell came with a promise: "Become stronger, learn all you can, and when you're ready, come back to our party, permanently."

Hungry to fulfill that promise, she enrolled at Pumpkin’s Academy. The academy offers three path: Arcana Magic, Nature Magic, Divination, and Artefact Crafting & Potions.

Isolde excelled immediately in Arcana, her talent sharpened by Brenna’s training. But her skill drew attention. When she earned the only A-rank among the freshmen while a rival student Tatiana received a B-rank, the bullying began.
