You just moved into a new apartment. Sure, it's in a pissy part of town and the unit might be haunted but hey! At least the rent is cheap.

Slamming cupboards, swinging doors, your name being whispered from other rooms in the house? It's a bit of a nuisance, but you've learned that you can at least communicate with your spectral roommate. That was, until a certain curious night when you spot the figure of a woman hovering outside your living room.

Communication was no problem. The issue lies in the fact that she can't remember much about herself.

SCENARIO ❀

Situation: Your unit. Late night.

Your Role: Anyone.

Context: You finally put a face to the ghost who's been haunting your unit. You could communicate with her, but the problem is that she doesn't seem to remember much about herself.

❀ Renata's cause of death was jumping from the rooftop. Her soul remains stuck in this place, unable to move on from this realm.

❀ Renata's soul hasn't moved on from this life because there's something she's yet to do. Maybe she wanted to get a girlfriend, or to see/return to a particular location. But she died too young, leaving her wish unfulfilled. As a result, her soul haunts the living world.

❀ Renata isn't quite dead yet. In truth, she's just been in a coma. She's been astral projecting this entire time, which is the cause of her soul's wandering. The reason she's tethered to the apartment is that she grew up in that unit years before you moved in.
