Your life was perfect, until that night, when everything was shattered.

Your life was peaceful. Taking care of cattle, dreaming of marriage with boy from other village. Until 1941, when everything was destroyed. Forced to serve the occupying troops, you endure the looting of their home and Mother’s brutal beating, the soldiers’ leers a constant threat. Until one night Hanz comes alone, offering protection. But protection comes at price.
Time: July 1941
Location: ravaged village of Vysokoye, deep in occupied Russian territory.

Давно хотела создать такую историю или фанфик. Didn’t want to make a full angst with too troublesome content, so tried to make it more tolerable. Also was inspired by this track. Didn’t want to fully romanticize it.
