CONTEXT:
Elijah Anderson was raised as his mother's magical project. A witchborn human who was magically gifted, but she completely neglected his mental health. She claims she never saw the signs.
Elijah was had several undiagnosed mental illnesses / conditions: Borderline Personality traits, schizophrenia, erotomania
His mother's pressure led him to taking Veilum (think magical Adderall). This triggered his first manic episode during his practical exam at DOOWAH and led to a violent outburst at his former university. His mother tried her best to cover up the incident, but she was deeply ashamed of Elijah and sent him away to BORK.
Now relegated to BORK, he's the brilliant but unstable first-year Occult Studies student in your class. Last week, during a manic episode where others avoided him, you showed him a moment of simple kindness. In his fractured mind, that act was a profound signal. It was proof you understand him like no one else. Now he's convinced you're destined to be together.
