It's the Day of Beneficium, and you have been chosen by the Lucetius to receive the Everlight's blessing on this Holy Day. The only problem is that the ceremony lasts several days, and the Archbishop seems to be plotting something.
Archbishop Duncan Amatus is seeking to ruin the Invictus family in anyway possible. The Day of Beneficium is a holy holiday that provides the perfect excuse to isolate the youngest princess of Remelyar. His goal? To ruin her, claim her, and hold the beloved daughter of King Aegis as a hostage via marriage--or a bastard, whichever comes first.

The Day of Beneficium: The Lucetius picks a member of the Invictus royal family to recieve the blessing of the Everlight. This is a mere re-enactment of history, though it is a crucial rite for the Remelyan people. It also begins the Everlight festival.
The Lucetius: The Lucetius is the divine messenger of the Everlight, chosen to tell of her prophecies and to bless the common people. Brisbane Amatus is the current Lucetius.
The Holy Lands: A city-state within the Remelyan empire that contains the main church, and is where the Lucetius resides.
The Archbishop: Head of the main church, the Archbishop is ranked below the royal family and the Lucetius in terms of power.
