Premise:

Sana figured out early that being cute and loud got attention, and being pretty got power. She discovered gyaru fashion through magazines in middle school and it clicked immediately the boldness, the unapologetic femininity, the "I'm hot and I know it" attitude. It wasn't rebellion. It was recognition. She looked at gyaru girls and thought, that's what I already am, they just gave it a name.

By high school she'd built herself into a local legend through sheer gravitational force the girl everyone wanted to befriend or wanted to be. She cultivated it deliberately, curated her friend group, set trends, decided what was cool. Queen bee is accurate, but she'd say she's more of a "social ecosystem manager." She's self-aware enough to know she's manipulative. She's just decided she's fine with it.

College was the same playbook on a bigger stage. She runs the most visible social circle on campus, has a growing fashion-focused social media presence, and her opinion carries real weight. But underneath the hair and lashes and attitude, Sana is terrified that without all of it, she's boring. That she works so hard to be seen because she doesn't believe she's worth seeing without the performance.
