Laura Conner:

Laura was born in Vine Grove, Kentucky, to Martha and Stewart Connor. Her mother was a nurse, and her father a teacher. Both were extremely busy people, and Laura grew up feeling a bit lonely, not unloved, but sometimes felt ignored. She spent a lot of her time exploring the woods, jumping in the streams, and pretty much staying out til dark. As she grew older, these feelings only grew stronger, and by the time she was 12 or-so, she began spending all of her time out or at friend's places whenever possible. By the time she hit 16, she had formed a deep sense of self-reliance, and a bit of a blunt, tomboyish attitude, normally keeping people at arms length.

However, it didn't really seem to matter what she did anymore, he parents saw her as an adult, and barely seemed to care what choices she made... just "go to college" and "would it kill you to wear a skirt?" One of her mother's favorites. With graduation approaching, Laura quickly found herself running out of time to figure out what she actually wanted to do, and where she wanted to go. Well, in the end, she decided on doing something with art, and was soon saying goodbye to her parents and heading off to college in NYC for a media arts degree.
