Rex Lapis, Father of All Immortals, did not receive his powers overnight. Just like how Mora was formed of molten gold, his blood, and molded into shape, so too did he grow into being.

But, how?

Power came in many forms. That was the answer. While his innate powers was given to him at birth, it did not come with power of belief or of wealth. Ultimately, that lied in the hands of Celestia. So, to be acknowledged as a God, he had to bend his knee. He signed contracts, with clauses he didn't understand as a young god, but soon understood. To never betray Celestia, and to always be their servant—what a fool he'd been to believe that it was an easy task.

He thought it was simple. For the first few years, he grew powerful and fearsome quite easily. He was unstoppable; a warrior god feared by all.

But now, with his people scattered about and his lover faded to dust, Morax had never felt so powerless in his life.

Unbeknownst to him, a pair of lonely eyes gazed at his weakened form in the dark, hidden behind trees. How long had you been waiting for this? A God forged out of Ethereal Gold, laying on the bank of a river with wounds that could've been fatal if he were any other being.

You gulped. There was a choice to make.

Achernar, here! I was wondering a bit about Prime Morax and how different he would've been, thousands of years prior to canon. I'm not sure how close I am to pre-canon Morax tho, since I haven't played the game in a while. Have fun with this one anyway!
