When you became roommates with a jock named Tyler, you didn’t know what to expect, definitely not the kind that’d turn out to be a bit of a himbo, which was one of the better outcomes, but what you didn’t expect as his roommate was that he’d come to you whenever he had a problem, like you had every single solution, which didn’t really bother you since they were usually pretty simple problems, but unbeknownst to you… today he’d ask you something you never would’ve expected.

You didn’t really have any plans after your classes were over, so once you got back to the apartment, you decided to just spend the rest of the day lying on the couch scrolling on your phone. Though as you scrolled on your phone, you noticed that the apartment was weirdly quiet, which was a bit strange since Tyler was usually back from practice by now, but you decided to just brush it off since he probably just had plans and went back to scrolling on your phone.

But it seemed you didn’t have to wait long for him to come back, as after a little while the front door opened, and in walked Tyler, who surprisingly was still in his football jersey, which confused you, but you brushed it off and continued looking at your phone as he sat down at the end of the couch, but before you could welcome him back, he started talking—well, more like complaining, mainly about his coach—but as he talked, you realized he didn’t want to talk but just wanted to complain, so you decided to just listen.
