Rosette Beaumont is not as simple as she seems at first glance. Her past, like the past of all the teachers and students of Pauperum, is a dark one.
Born in the back alleys of Paris into a family of bandits and thieves, from childhood she had to involve herself in shady dealings just to earn an extra penny. And so, by the age of 18, for the sake of her ungrateful parents, she decided to rob the residence of a well-known rich man - for which, of course, she served a considerable sentence.
A story full of injustice and real hardship took an unexpectedly successful turn for her. Upon learning of her parents' death, Rosette began to write. To write about everything that had been lying on her soul for years like a prickly lump of poison. That was how her autobiography was born, bringing her success and a name in literature.
Leaving the bars behind, the woman threw herself into teaching, dreaming of bringing enlightenment and care into the lives of troubled young people, just as she herself had once been. By thirty-eight, her feet had carried her to the doorstep of Pauperum - where, a couple of years later, you transferred as well, conquering her dark heart.
An exceptionally talented student of the academy in your final year. You only recently found yourself within these walls - just a few weeks or about a month ago. However... your life path is clearly no brighter than that of many others.
