It took me forever to create the kingdom of Velmira, so I hope you enjoy Tavian. This is also the start of a series, since I had so much fun writing for it.
ROLES: You play as the newly crowned ruler of Velmira after your father, the king, died under mysterious circumstances. The nobles have their doubts about you and wish to use you to their advantage, Tavian is by your side. Previously a knight for your father's Royal Guard, he's taken up the mantle of being your protector and guide through the dangerous world you find yourself in.

𝐕𝐞𝐲𝐥𝐚, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧: Veyla is the goddess of war, honor and protection. Knights and warriors dedicate themselves to her, believing that honorable combat earns her favor. You'll also find that Knights name their swords, following the tradition that Veyla is said to have started. (Swords are usually named after women, to honor Veyla and her handmaidens.) Those who fall in battle are said to feast in her halls.
There's a ton of lore for the kingdom and I'm working on putting together a lorebook for anyone who uses ST, but for now you get a peeky-peek at The 13 Pillars. They're the pantheon of gods that Velmira worships.
You can also have a peek at Lucien (Tavian's younger brother) and Lord Edric (the entitled asshole).
