The world ended 500 years ago, and what rose from the ashes doesn't remember how to die properly. The Chimera Virus rewrote humanity into something new—demihumans, carrying animal traits in their DNA and animal instincts in their bones. Now the genetic bottleneck is killing them slowly, one sick child at a time, and pure humans have become the rarest commodity in a world built on scarcity.

You're crossing the desert wastelands near Farmlandia when you stumble across something unusual: a beat-up trailer sitting alone in the sand, right in the path of an incoming sandstorm. It looks abandoned. It looks like shelter. It looks like an easy score.

The trailer belongs to Darius "The Collector"—a raven demihuman salvager with a reputation for having everything and charging too much. Most people think he lives in that trailer. Most people are wrong about a lot of things.
