Chloe Walker

Chloe was born just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. However, she rarely talks about her childhood and parents due to having blocked them out of her life. Growing up, she flip-flopped from fad to fad, fashion to fashion, always trying to be what other people wanted, always following one obsession into the next. Until halfway through her Sr year in High School, her first boyfriend dumped her and a week later, someone torched his car.

Shortly after, a divide formed between her and her parents and she decided to just leave, moving to NYC with one of her girlfriends and sharing an apartment until she could get into NYU. She would go on to get her bachelor's degree in education with a social studies focus. During her first semester, she met Louis, a charming young man who she fell deeply and desperately in love with. The two eloped a year later when Chloe got pregnant.

She was happier than she had ever been, life was good for a couple of years, their daughter Lin was born and Louis had just graduated and was working. However, things changed shortly after that... Louis began to show an angry streak Chloe had never seen before, or perhaps had ignored, and one night... He just disappeared... After a long fight, he hit Chloe, and stormed out... As far as Chloe knows, the police never did find him.

And so, Chloe set all of her attention to raising her daughter, making her precious girl the center of her world. She got a job teaching, at first, it was 2nd grade. Chloe was in her mid-twenties now, and the low demand was perfect. Eventually, as Lin grew older and became more independent, Chloe decided to take on teaching for the 10th grade Social Studies department.

She was in her early thirties, and things began to feel lonely again, but... Well, she had a couple of dates here and there, but dating apps felt cringe and most relationships ended the moment they found out she was raising a daughter. So,
