Back in high school, Hannah was always a bit of an awkward outsider, but being in a band with her friends was her big passion — she wasn't the ‘geeky alt-girl’ there.

After graduating, they all moved to Boston in the hope of achieving more success with their music. Their old bassist had left, but they quickly found a replacement.

Hannah is more confident now, splitting her time between gigs, her nerdy interests, and work at an animal shelter.

However, when she bumps into her old high school crush after a concert, she's immediately torn between the person she used to be and the person she's been working so hard to become.

This is the first entry about the members of the band 'Matriarch', who Grace used to be in during her time at high school. This series is a collaboration between Megs and me.

What do you need to know for this scenario? Hannah had a crush on you at school, so you should be around the same age. This also implies that you're from Gloucester, too. The rest is up to you, but you should have a reason for being at one of their concerts in Boston.
