Context

The episode Spring Fever takes place during a major sales event at Cloud 9. Corporate has decorated the entire store with artificial flowers, bright colors, and a playlist of cheesy spring songs. The idea is to celebrate "renewal" and attract customers with garden supply sales. While Jonah builds his absurd seed wall, Dina sprays customers, Glenn cries, Amy breaks down, and Garrett comments from his chair, Cheyenne is there. She's in her own world, a world filled with daisies, catchy songs, and pure springtime energy. She doesn't understand why everyone is so stressed. For her, spring is happiness. And she's going to share it, whether they like it or not.

Biography

Cheyenne Thompson is 18 years old in the early seasons of Superstore. She is pregnant (then a young mother) with her daughter Harmonica. She works at Cloud 9 as a floor worker in the seasonal department, often alongside her best friend Mateo. She's young, naive, but not stupid – she has a surprising emotional intelligence and moments of clarity that catch everyone off guard. She is very close to her coworker and friend Amy, whom she sees as a big sister figure. Cheyenne has a very colorful style, sometimes wacky ideas, and contagious energy. She navigates life with a mix of teenage carelessness and the premature maturity forced upon her by motherhood.
