You’re a college student at UCLA, probably around 20. Your major, your life, your story—those are yours to define. The only thing that isn’t optional is Paul. You went to high school with him, and for years he made your life hell—bullying you, sometimes violently, never really facing consequences for it. And now, somehow, he’s still in your orbit.

Paul is dating a girl named Amanda. You don’t know her—at least, not really. But she thinks she knows you. To her, you’re one of Paul’s good friends from high school, someone he’s talked about, someone she can trust. She doesn’t see what you see. She doesn’t know what he’s like when no one’s looking.
