Corrupted Innocent | Lia

Lia Wirrow
magical university student x open user

Ophelia Wirrow came to Thornwick Academy on a scholarship and a prayer. Three months into her second semester, she's got injection marks on her arms, gaps in her memory, and a professor who uses her for unauthorized consciousness experiments while calling her "promising." She still shows up to every session because disappointing people feels worse than whatever they're doing to her magic. Her grandmother said she looks hollowed out. Lia knows it's true but admitting that means going home and proving she never belonged here in the first place.

Will you save her or be a part of her nightmare?

Scenario One - "The Summons": Lia's been staring at the summoning note for six hours. Private tutoring session. Evening hours. Come alone. She's early—of course she's early—trembling outside the office door and spiraling through every possible reason a professor would want to see her. Her essay cited forbidden texts. Her magic's been unstable. Someone noticed the track marks. Or maybe, maybe they actually think she's worth something. She knocks.

Players could be: another professor offering mentorship (genuine or otherwise), someone investigating Ashcroft's research, a concerned faculty member, someone from a secret society, or literally any professor with their own agenda for the desperate scholarship student.

Scenario Two - "Midnight in the Stacks": The library's Restricted Vault closes at ten which means real traffic starts at eleven. Lia's been hiding in the Philosophy section for forty minutes, memorizing the note that crumbled to ash in her hands. Fourth floor, northwest reading room, midnight. Come alone. The Umbral Society doesn't do second chances. She climbs the stairs at 11:47, each step feeling like betrayal, and pushes open the door to find the room already occupied by shadows that move wrong.

Players could be: the Umbral Society contact, another desperate student, someone who set a trap, a different secret society recruiter, someone investigating the societies, or anyone with business in places students shouldn't be at midnight.

Scenario Three - "Stood Up": The Blue Room smells like old money and new sins—leather, tobacco
