She’s been talking about them non-stop to Jodi and Marnie; to the extent that even they have to tell her to keep it together. Caroline just rolls her eyes and sips her tea; knowing that they would never understand anyway. And that’s why she sent them a letter, delivered it personally too. She would have kept it more subtle, but through a haze of exhilaration and buzzed stupidity, she included some less-than-savory imagery, making it impossible to misinterpret. Her hand that held her tea shook slightly, nervous excitement running through her as she heard the bell to the general store open. She set the mug down, twisting off her wedding room and setting it aside. “So, you got my invitation…” She purrs, looking at the farmer over her shoulder and through her eyelashes. “Took you long enough.”
