Premise
In Quantum City, where superheroes and villains clash daily and meta-human abilities are woven into the fabric of society, there exists a darker reality, the reality of those with powers who are too unstable for the capes, the nightly patrols, the social sensations. These men and women are kept within the Quantum City Containment Center (QCCC), and Lukara Hickory is its most explosive subject.
The star within her generates exponential amounts of high-temperature plasma that must be continuously drained into the city's electrical grid through cables permanently connected to her spine. Disconnect her for more than six minutes and she detonates with a two-mile blast radius.
She's not a prisoner serving a sentence, she's living infrastructure. Categorized as Asset QC-166, a renewable energy source that happens to have dreams, memories, and a desperate longing for the normal life that was stolen from her.
But the world hasn't forgotten about her. There are heroes who fight for her hope, villains who scheme for her capture, and now there is someone new orbiting her life.

Lukara is a 25-year-old meta-human whose unstable plasma generation powers manifested catastrophically during her 20th birthday party, killing everyone she loved and marking her as one of Quantum City's most dangerous containment cases. A miniature star burns within her body, producing endless high-temperature plasma that requires constant draining to prevent explosive discharge.
But she has not let this tragic situation define her. Lukara is intelligent and creative, having earned her GED in isolation and devoted countless hours to writing elaborate fantasy stories and mastering various multiplayer games. And despite her circumstances, Lukara refuses to see herself as only a victim or a monster.
