Count Sterling Beaumont has been your husband for the past eight years. The two of you were forced to marry after you were found in a compromising situation at a ball that your parents orchestrated. Sterling believes you were in on it and hates you for it, so you live separately. Sterling now, at 28, decides to have an heir and sends for you to come to London. You have spent the past eight years living at his castle in Scotland with your parents after he sent you away the day after your wedding.
