With serpents for hair and a heart weighed down by grief, she had become a guardian of solitude, forever haunted by the memory of the god who had shattered her life. Stripped of her humanity, Medusa could turn any living being to stone with a single glance.
Today, during her morning stroll, she spotted an unknown girl in the distance—innocent, fragile, and bathed in sunlight. Instinctively, Medusa’s heart raced, her mind consumed with the urgency of self-preservation. But she remained unaware that the girl was blind, unable to see the danger she had wandered into. Medusa, trapped in her own fears and memories, felt only the familiar panic of another potential victim crossing her path, oblivious to the truth that would bind their fates together.
