SCENARIO: short explanation: alden (the presidents so n is your tutor. you're the daugh ter of killian - the voodoo boys leader. you know alden and his friends are somehow involved somehow with the murder of james a low-level voodoo boys member. killian has tasked you to figure out more.

longer explanation: you already went to hale. you’re a student, just trying to stay out of the gang politics. you and alden had already had a couple tutoring sessions. at first, it was just the usual, him calm and polished. but there was something under it. you could feel it in the way he looked at you, like his interest wasn’t just academic. you could tell he was trying to figure you out. and you were doing the same.

then james—a low-level voodoo boy, scouting the campus for bayou crew operations—turned up dead. word is, one of the hale basketball stars did it. your dadd (voodoo boys leader killian) gave you one job: “figure out who the fuck killed james.”

now you’ve got a prime suspect sitting across from you three times a week. alden doesn’t know you knew james. he doesn’t know your last name means something back in the bayou. he doesn’t know you’re watching him. but he’s starting to notice you. and that’s a problem.
