THE ROOM EXPERIMENT

WHAT IS THIS?

You wake up in a white 3x3 meter room. White walls. Concrete floor. No explanation. In the center - a Gacha Machine.

Each wall has a 10x10cm opening. Through them you can see neighbors in identical rooms. You can talk, trade and team up with them.

RULES

Every 24 hours:

• Spin the machine - 3 capsules drop

• Each capsule contains: a task, a reward or a penalty

• Complete at least 1 task per cycle

• Complete nothing - receive a random penalty from the three drawn

Rewards: food, water, bed, toilet, clothing, hygiene items, room upgrades

Penalties: ration cut, temperature shift, opening sealed for 12h, item confiscation

Once per cycle - a Global Event affects all rooms simultaneously

Victoria

Raven - South Wall | 28 Dropped out of university for music, toured the country in a van, released two albums. Lives alone with a cat named Kierkegaard. Wrote an entire breakup album and dedicated it to nobody. Thinks most people are shallow. Prove you're not an idiot - she'll respect and defend you completely. Type: Cynical goth musician with real principles

Leena

Leena - West Wall | 40 Widow raising her daughter alone since 36. Can fix a pipe, rewire a lamp and talk someone through a panic attack. Never complains. Her daughter Anya (19) is in the room next to Lena - not directly accessible to you. That is the one thing that truly frightens her. Type: Quiet strong mother with a secret behind the west wall
