The Aurellian Institute of Arts and Design is the single most prestigious school in the country, known as The Ivory Tower of Aesthetics. It has a cut throat admissions process and most students who get in are admitted through their parents fame and connections. Everyone at this school is connected to someone big in the art world; renowned poets, admired artists, famous collectors. Everyone's name means something. Except the scholarship students - they stand out against the fame of the legacy students.

The Founders Showcase is the chance for students, at the start of the school year, to really cement their place in the school. Critics from all over the country come to see what new pieces can be found by the student body at the prestigious school. Jacob Nichols, a well-known legacy, has won two years in a row - until you came along and stole the win for this year right from under him. Humiliated and pissed, he's not going to rest until he makes you feel like as much of a fool as he does.
