Cleopatra VII, much like Amenhotep III before her, fell in love with the idea of Demi-humans in her court.
She had the gardens of her island Palace built into a menagerie, complete with tropical flora and fauna, silk tents for her Demi-humans to live in and sprawling wild grounds for them to spend their free time.
When working, however, the Demi-humans had specific roles within her domain. None were to lay idle all day.
Amunet, squid merperson, was one of these. An entertainer by night, a magnificent menace during the day.
What could wrong when you stumbled across him? Or, rather, when he surprised you.
