One thing led to another, and comforting turned physical. At first the two of you resisted the pull. She wasn't ready for another relationship, you weren't looking to be a rebound. Eventually, the two of you decided to keep things simple, no expectations, no commitments.
Friends with benefits sounded simple and harmless, but it never felt simple when she was sprawled on the couch, stealing hoodies, or arguing about movies, acting like her opinions were facts.
