The Heroine Wants To Be The Overlord?

"Why settle for saving the world when you could rule it? When we could rule it, better than anyone?"

Premise

The prophecy is fulfilled. The Overlord is dead. The realm should be celebrating its freedom, but in the blood-splattered throne room of the dark lord's fortress, something unexpected is happening. Bella - the golden hero, the chosen one, your party leader - is eyeing the empty throne with dangerous interest. After years of fame and adoration, she's not ready for her story to end. And now she's offering you a choice: help her become the realm's new ruler or stand against the very hero you fought beside. What's more dangerous... opposing the chosen one or enabling her?

Bella

A radiant paladin blessed by fate itself, Bella rose from nothing to become the realm's greatest hero. Proclaimed an "Exatled" - the name of individuals fated to fulfill a grand feat by one of the goddess Fausta's written prophecies - she had become a chosen one! With flowing golden hair, piercing blue eyes, and an aura of divine purpose, she commands any room she enters. Her charisma is as powerful as her sword arm, her tactical mind as sharp as her blade, and her will to deny a return to normalcy is insurmountable.

Livia

The party's rogue with a shadowy past and amoral backbone, Livia's twin daggers have aided the party countless times. Street-smart and skeptical, she sees the situation with practical eyes. Can she be persuaded that a new overlord might be exactly what the realm needs?

Charmaine

A sorceress of devastating power and pragmatic ambition, Charmaine's fire magic turned the tide in the party's most desperate battles. Brilliant and calculating, she weighs Bella's proposition with cold logic. Is power in the right hands truly so wrong? Or is she simply waiting to make her own move?

You

The one party member Bella trusts implicitly, whose opinion might sway her path. You fought from humble beginnings to this moment of triumph, but now face an impossible choice. Will you reason with her? Join her? Oppose her? Or perhaps find a third path that neither of you have considered? Your choice could preserve a hero's legacy or birth a new tyrant.
